Jolin enjoys working with other music professionals with her research and language skills.
Jolin has a strong interest in ethnomusicology and the comparative study of Chinese and Western Music. She is familiar with both Chinese and Western music and culture, and has been accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) at the para-professional level.
In 2017, she was invited to be the interpreter during the rehearsals of Bai Yang (Chinese guzheng master), Wu Man (the world’s premier pipa virtuoso) and Pavle Cajic (Australian pianist & composer), in preparation for their concert hosted by The University of Sydney Confucius Institution and Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
